A Note From Your President
August, 2005
Greetings to all MACS Members:
On behalf of the Executive Board of MACS I would like to extend
Invitation to attend our fall meeting October 16, 17 and 18th in East
Lansing, Michigan. The Association is pleased to return to the
Kellogg Center in the Campus of Michigan State University.
On Sunday Evening we will host a reception beginning at 7p.m. This
Is a great opportunity to network and relax with friends. Early in the
Afternoon don’t forget to sign up for the golf outing.
Monday will be a fun packed day. The morning session will feature a
Presentation on The Fish Management Style. Brenda Lowery and
Maria McCarthy will lead this presentation. I know you will leave
with great ideas to take back to your stores. The afternoon will
feature a trade fair and a murder mystery train and dinner excursion.
Tuesday we will be hosting a publisher’s forum. Mike Norton will be a moderator. This is your chance to communicate, listen and
learn. Houghton Mifflin and Thomson Learning have accepted
invitations to participate. We have extended invitations to Pearson
and McGraw Hill and are hopeful that they too will be represented.
Come and join us. See you in October.
